Former Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf agreed to a lifetime ban from the banking industry.

Stumpf also agreed to pay a $17.5 million fine in connection to the bank's fake accounts scandal.

He's among eight former Wells Fargo executives the federal government moved to take punitive action against.
