Ferdinand Piech, who's credited with turning Volkswagen into a global powerhouse, died Aug. 25. He was 82.
Piech previously served in the CEO and chairman roles for VW.
He's the grandson of sports car and VW Beetle pioneer Ferdinand Porsche.
