Former USA Gymnastics President Steve Penny was arrested Wednesday night for alleged evidence tampering.
Penny is accused of removing documents related to former team doctor Larry Nassar from USA Gymnastics' training center in Texas.
Arrested on a warrant issued in Texas, Penny allegedly destroyed or hid the documents and they have not been recovered.
Penny resigned in March 2017 amid allegations of sexual abuse against Nassar.
