The Small Business Administration appointed Tom Salisbury to serve as Region 7 administrator. The position oversees Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska.
Salisbury succeeds the retired Patricia Brown-Dixon, who had held the role since February 2011.
Salisbury most recently worked the past seven years in Kansas City as small-business liaison for Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Missouri. He's also a former vice president of correspondent banking at UMB Bank.
