Former Theranos Chief Operating Officer and President Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani was sentenced to nearly 13 years in prison.
He was convicted on fraud charges at the blood-testing startup.
Balwani was romantically linked to Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, who later accused him of sexual and emotional abuse. Holmes recently was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison.
