Former St. Louis Public Radio General Manager Tim Eby is suing the University of Missouri.
Eby alleges defamation related to his firing in 2020. The University of Missouri operates St. Louis Public Radio.
Eby's lawsuit alleges his response to claims of unfair treatment of reporters and producers of color was "substantially edited" by the university. At the time of his firing, Eby said in a public statement that he was "very sorry that I did not recognize the depth of the problems earlier and that staff have been hurt."
