Harry Reid, one of the longest-serving U.S. Senate majority leaders in history, died Dec. 28. He was 82.
Reid was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2018.
According to The Washington Post, Reid was a political force during the presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama. A Nevada Democrat, Reid was the Senate majority leader 2007-14.
