Former Reuters editor sentenced to 2 years in prison

A former Reuters social media editor has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for helping hackers break into the Los Angeles Times website in 2010.

Matthew Keys, who maintains he's innocent, plans to appeal the decision.

The 28-year-old was convicted in October of conspiring with hacker group Anonymous to break into The Tribune Co.'s network. The owner of the Los Angeles Times is his former employer.
