Former professor gives $1.57M to Mizzou law school

A former law professor donated $1.57 million to his old school to help it compete with other universities across the country, according to ConnectMissouri.com.

Members of the Nancy and Charles Wall Family Foundation presented their gift to the University of Missouri Law School on Sept. 26 at the Reynolds Alumni Center. The money is designed to help MU compete with top public and private universities for top-flight faculty members.

The money also could help the school focus on corporate governance research, ConnectMissouri.com reported.
