The former chief technology officer of Oculus is leaving Meta.
John Carmack has been with Facebook parent company Meta since the company bought virtual reality company Oculus for $2 billion in 2014.
In an internal post reviewed by The New York Times, Carmack reportedly said Meta has “a ridiculous amount of people and resources, but we constantly self-sabotage and squander effort.”
