Former MSU coach expected to head to Nevada

Steve Alford is expected to be named head coach of the University of Nevada Wolf Pack

Alford is a former coach of the Missouri State University Bears basketball team. He led the team to a Sweet 16 appearance during his last season with the Bears in 1999.

Alford was fired by the University of California, Los Angeles, on Dec. 31, 2018.
