Former MLB pitcher dies

Don Larsen, the only pitcher in MLB history to throw a perfect game in the World Series, has died. He was 90.

“I think about it every day, more than once, maybe several times,” Larsen said in a 2015 interview with Bob Costas for MLB Network. “I’m glad I was part of a little bit of history. It makes me proud.”

Larsen’s agent, Andrew Levy, said he died of esophageal cancer in Idaho.
