President Joe Biden yesterday nominated former Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan for a federal post.
Carnahan, 59, was tapped to lead the General Services Administration, an independent agency that leads much of the federal government’s operations.
Sen. Roy Blunt, who defeated Carnahan in the 2010 U.S. Senate race, immediately signaled his support for her nomination to the GSA.
