Former Missouri county collector charged with theft

The former deputy collector for a rural eastern Missouri county has been charged with five counts of theft.

Kelcey Gresham, 31, formerly held the role collector role with Madison County.

More than $13,000 was missing from the county after Gresham allegedly pocketed property taxes when they were paid in cash. The payments were entered into the collector's database and then deleted.
