Acuff previously was vice president of business development at H.E. Williams Inc., a light-fixtures manufacturer in Carthage. Prior to that, he was with Noble for 15 years, first as lead executive for its promotions arm and later as agency general manager, according to a news release.
As general manager, Acuff oversees Noble’s portfolio of companies, which includes its Springfield and Chicago offices, the CultureWaves marketing tool, and The Food Channel Web site. He covers the roles of both chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Noble.
Noble employs about 200 and posted capital billings of $178 million in 2007, the release said. Its clients include Behr Paints, Otis Spunkmeyer, Reckitt Benckiser and Tyson Foods Inc.
