Donald J. Hall Sr., former CEO of Kansas City-based Hallmark Cards Inc., has died. He was 96.
Hall led the company 1966-1983, becoming chair emeritus from 2016 until his death. He's the son of the company’s founder.
Current Hallmark CEO Mike Perry said the company experienced its “greatest period of growth” under Hall’s leadership.
