Former federal prosecutor could be Trump's SEC chairwoman

Debra Wong Yang, a former federal prosecutor who is currently a star lawyer who has defended the likes of Uber and Chris Christie, could be President-elect Donald Trump's pick for Securities and Exchange Commission chairwoman.

Asked whether she's the leading contender, a senior transition official told CNN, "She is up there."

In 2002, Yang was named the first Asian American female U.S. attorney by President George W. Bush.
