Former Fed chairman dies at 92

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker died Dec. 8. He was 92.

Volcker is known for taking steps in the 1980s to curb inflation.

He was head of the central bank until 1987 after being appointed chairman in 1979 by President Jimmy Carter.
