Former Food and Drug Administration Deputy Commissioner Frank Yiannas has joined Chipotle Mexican Grill's Food Safety Advisory Council.
Chipotle officials said Yiannas would join “a group of independent experts commissioned to ensure Chipotle’s food safety standards continue to evolve and serve as best practices for the restaurant industry.”
The Food Safety Advisory Council was formed in 2016.
