Former Facebook, Nike diversity manager sentenced for fraud

A former diversity manager at Facebook and Nike has been sentenced for stealing more than $5 million from those companies, CNBC reports.

Georgia resident Barbara Furlow-Smiles was sentenced to five years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to wire fraud late last year.

She reportedly stole over $4.9 million from Facebook through a scheme that included fake invoices and fraudulent vendors.
