A former employee has filed suit against automobile hauler Jack Cooper after it made layoffs earlier this year.
John O’Hare alleges in the suit, which seeks class-action status, that Jack Cooper violated Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act rules that require 60 days' notice of large layoffs.
O’Hare is seeking back pay and benefits, among other compensation.
