Former employee sentenced for embezzling $691K from STL nonprofit

A former employee of St. Louis-based nonprofit Promise Community Homes has been sentenced for embezzling $690,902 from the organization formerly known as Rainbow Village.

Joelle Fouse, 58, was ordered to spend 40 months in prison and repay the money.

Fouse served as manager/director of finance and human resources for Promise Community Homes and reportedly used nonprofit funds on personal expenses.
