Former Creve Coeur pharmacist sued by feds

A former Creve Coeur pharmacist is facing a federal lawsuit over allegedly filling prescriptions when they were not needed for medical purposes.

The complaint alleges Elizabeth Dembo violated the federal Controlled Substances Act and the False Claims Act.

Dembo was the pharmacist-in-charge at Olive Street Pharmacy in Creve Coeur during the time of the alleged crimes.
