Former Chiefs' player sues team for copyright infringement

Chris Martin, a former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, has filed a lawsuit against his former team and its Ambassadors program for copyright infringement.

Martin alleges through the case filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri the organization used his artwork for the Ambassadors program logo without permission.  

The logo has been used on promotional materials including jackets, hats and its website, according to case details uncovered by Kansas City Business Journal reporting.
