Former Chiefs employee alleges racial discrimination in lawsuit

Posted online

Former Kansas City Chiefs employee Ramzee Robinson is alleging racial discrimination and wrongful termination in a lawsuit filed against the football team.

Ramzee Robinson, who was director of player engagement until February, alleges in the lawsuit that his termination was racially motivated.

A Black man, Robinson alleges that he was accused of attacking a white female co-worker without evidence being shown. That woman took over his role when he was fired, according to the lawsuit.

Among claims in the lawsuit, Robinson alleges the Chiefs pay "African-American business employees less than their white counterparts.”
