A former CEO was charged with embezzling more than $15 million from her employer.
The employer isn't named in court records, although it is identified as a subsidiary of a foreign corporation that makes carbide products used in saw blades for the woodworking industry.
Donna Osowitt Steele, of Taylorsville, North Carolina, allegedly used the stolen funds on personal expenses and businesses run by her family.
