Former Boeing CEO takes new job

Jim McNerney, who led Chicago-based Boeing Co. as CEO from 2005 to 2015, has a new job.

The 65-year-old is joining New York-based private equity investment firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice as a senior adviser.

Last June, Dennis Muilenburg was named CEO of Boeing to replace McNerney. Last month, Muilenburg was named to replace McNerney as chairman of the company.
