Former Anderson Engineering Inc. CEO Neil Brady joined the Springfield office of Topeka, Kansas-based Bartlett & West Inc.
Brady worked at Anderson Engineering for more than two decades before he quietly resigned this summer. In a leadership shakeup, Anderson Engineering’s board appointed Jerrod Hogan as CEO, Jason Eckhart as board chairman and Paul Engel as vice chairman, Springfield Business Journal previously reported. Brady previously told SBJ he was “looking for a change.”
At Bartlett & West, Brady said in a news release that the new job “presented an opportunity for me to draw on my skills while continuing work with a firm that is 100% employee owned.”
Bartlett & West Chief Operations Officer Bob Gilbert said Brady’s hiring comes as the firm seeks to grow its services in the Springfield area. The company’s Springfield office is at 1801 W. Norton Road, Ste. 309-A, according to BartlettWest.com.
“Neil is a leader in our profession, and I think his broad background of experience is a great fit for our clients,” Gilbert said in the release.
Brady has been senior project manager for Bartlett & West since last month. A spokesperson said he leads the local office.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
