Forecast: China to spend $1T on thousands of new aircraft

A forecast by Boeing indicates Chinese airlines will buy more than $1 trillion worth of new aircraft during the next two decades.

The spending spree to pay for roughly 6,810 aircraft would make China the "the first trillion-dollar aviation market," according to Boeing.

China's air traffic is expected to grow by more than 6 percent over the next 20 years.
