Ford to invest $9B in US plants

Ford Motor Co. agreed to invest $9 billion in its U.S. plants.

The announcement comes after Ford faced pressure for plans to spent $2.5 billion on a Mexico plant.

The U.S. investment is expected to create or keep 8,500 jobs over the next four years.
