Ford Motor plans to cut costs by $14 billion over the next five years, CEO Jim Hackett told investors yesterday.
Hackett's actions so far include signing off on a plan to shift production of the Ford Focus to China from Michigan.
The CEO also said the company would focus more on trucks and electric and hybrid cars and move away from sedans and internal combustion engines.
