Ford is cutting production and temporarily closing plants amid a global semiconductor chip shortage.
Assembly plants in Chicago and Flat Rock, Michigan, are among those impacted.
"Our teams continue making the most of our available semiconductor allocation and will continue finding unique solutions to provide as many high-quality vehicles as possible to our dealers and customers," Ford officials said in a statement.
