Ford cancels Mexico plant

Posted online
Ford Motor Co. announced yesterday it's canceling plans to build a $1.6 billion plant in Mexico to construct the Ford Focus.

The company intends to invest $700 million at its Flat Rock, Michigan, assembly plant and create 700 new jobs.
