Ford Motor Co. pledged to boost production of its F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck amid a surge in demand.
The company is seeking to build 150,000 of the trucks annually, up from a previous goal of 40,000 per year.
The vehicle is a modified version of Ford's best-selling F-150 pickup truck.
