James River Commons partner Stanley Kroenke, owner of Columbia-based Kroenke Group, is named the 92nd richest person in the U.S. on Forbes' list of the 400 richest Americans, released this week.
The Kroenke Group
co-developed multitenant retail development James River Commons with Springfield-based Ron Stenger Cos. in 2009. James River Commons is anchored by Sam’s Club and Academy Sports & Outdoors.
With a net worth of roughly $4 billion as of September, Kroenke also owns the St. Louis Rams, the Denver Nuggets, the Colorado Avalanche and British soccer club Arsenal, according to
Forbes.
Kroenke is married to the 79th richest American,
Ann Walton Kroenke, daughter of James “Bud” Walton and niece of Bentonville, Ark.-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc. founder Sam Walton. Her net worth is roughly $4.5 billion.

Patterson, who lives in the Loch Lloyd resort community outside Kansas City, serves as chairman, CEO and president of Cerner Corp., which sells information technology systems such as electronic health records to physicians and hospitals.
With a net worth of $66 billion, Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates topped Forbes' list of the richest Americans. He is followed by Warren Buffett, chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, who has a net worth of $46 billion, and Oracle Corp. CEO Larry Ellison, with a net worth of $41 billion, according to the
list.
