Arvest Bank of Springfield President Rodney Shepard, far right, and Josh Rinkenbaugh, marketing officer for Arvest Bank of Joplin, hand a check for more than $7,000 to fight area hunger to Ozarks Food Harvest President and CEO Bart Brown, center. During April and May, local residents and Arvest employees and customers also raised roughly $1,600 for Christian Action Ministries in Branson. The effort was part of Arvest’s first-ever initiative to combat hunger, and it reportedly exceeded its goal to provide more than 1 million meals in the 90 communities it serves.
