Flooding this week caused at least $18 million in damages to the St. Louis MetroLink, according to officials with the light rail system.
The damage is concentrated between the transit line's Forest Park-DeBaliviere and Delmar Loop stations.
One of the expenses is a train that got stuck in rising water and flooded. It's expected to cost $5 million to replace.
