Flock Safety is tightening safeguards over privacy and oversight controls in response to politicians from both sides of the aisle pushing for new restrictions.
The company announced it would recommend that police agencies keep license plate reader data for seven days instead of 30.
Flock also is looking to suspend users automatically when their activity is flagged as abnormal.
