A ship carrying grain left Ukraine’s southern port of Odesa this morning.
The ship set sail under an agreement between Ukraine and Russia to allow food shipments to resume to help ease the global food crisis and lower the price of grain.
The Sierra Leone-flagged ship The Razoni is headed for the port of Tripoli in Lebanon, and further shipments are planned to follow in the coming weeks.
The ship, carrying 26,000 tons of corn, is expected to arrive in Turkish waters for inspection Tuesday.
