Gov. Matt Blunt, along with his wife, Melanie, and three-year-old son, William Branch, will participate in the Marshfield Independence Day parade beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, according to a state news release.
The family will then travel to Springfield for James River Assembly’s “I Love America” celebration, which begins at 7 p.m. at Springfield Underground.
Blunt is a Greene County native; he was born in Springfield and attended Strafford Public Schools, according to his official state biography.
