Independence National Historical Park secured federal funding to turn the First Bank of the United States into a museum.
The rehabilitation and transformation project in downtown Philadelphia was approved for $22.2 million in federal funding.
The building, which dates to the 1790s, is considered to be the oldest surviving U.S. federal building. It hasn't been open to the public for around 50 years.
