Two recently fired Democratic members of the Federal Trade Commission have filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration.
Alvaro Bedoya and Rebecca Kelly Slaughter allege in the lawsuit that the decision violated legal precedent preventing political firings.
“My Democrat former colleagues are entitled to their day in court, but I have no doubt that President Trump’s lawful powers will ultimately be confirmed," FTC Chair Andrew Ferguson said.
