Vicki Lindsay joined Guaranty Bank as a commercial loan assistant and assistant to President and CEO Shaun Burke. She has 15 years of banking experience in the Springfield area and has spent the last 13 years working with commercial clients.
Pam Begley joined Mid-Missouri Bank as assistant vice president of customer service. She has 19 years of banking experience in operations, personal banking and bank management. In her new position, she assists Mid-Missouri Bank customers with opening new accounts and provides guidance in account management and use of bank services, including online banking.
Mid-Missouri Mortgage Company announced a staff promotion and addition.
Scott Wolf was promoted to production manager. He has been with Mid-Missouri Mortgage for four years. He holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Central Methodist College and a master's degree in business administration from Southwest Baptist University.
Tami Fulp joined Mid-Missouri Mortgage Company as a loan officer. She has several years of experience in originating loans in the Joplin and Springfield markets. Fulp holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southwest Missouri State University.
Matt Sturgeon joined Town & Country Bank as a loan officer, assisting customers with all types of consumer and real estate loans. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from College of the Ozarks and two years of experience in mortgage lending.
Matthew R. Keeth joined BKD Financial LLC as a financial analyst. He is a 2001 graduate of SMSU, where he earned a bachelor's degree in finance. He also holds a master's degree in business administration from Drury University. In his new position, Keeth analyzes company and industry financial and marketing data used by clients interested in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, or those seeking debt and equity financing.
Chad D. Tillery joined the Springfield office of BKD Wealth Advisors LLC as a staff advisor. Tillery is a 2003 graduate of Kansas State University in Manhattan, where he earned a bachelor's degree in personal financial planning. In his new position, Tillery helps clients coordinate their investments with tax, retirement, educational and estate planning needs.
BKD LLP announced several staff additions. Mollie T. Adams, CPA, Stephanie A. Richter, Jason A. Soeller, Benjamin M. Stone and Waylon W. Wood joined the firm as staff accountants, assisting with general tax, audit, accounting and consulting engagements.
Adams graduated from SMSU in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in accounting, and in 2003 with a master's degree in business degree in business administration. Richter graduated from Drury University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and again in 2002 with a master's degree in accountancy.
Soeller earned a management degree from SMSU in 2001 and a master's degree in accounting in 2003. Stone is a 2003 graduate of Drury University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration. Wood earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from SMSU in 2002 and a master's degree in accounting in 2003.
Carolyn Hoffman, financial consultant with the Springfield office of Smith Barney, earned the financial planning specialist designation after successfully completing Smith Barney's personal financial planning program. The training program covers several topics, including retirement planning, education planning, income, estate tax and investment planning. It concludes with a three-hour final examination. Hoffman has been a financial consultant with Smith Barney for six years.
Stan Jinks, an investment representative with Edward Jones, was one of 30 representatives honored at a business management forum held March 1-3 in St. Louis. He was recognized for his business management skills.
