Fights, disturbances shut down malls across US

Fights, disturbances and false reports of gunfire shut down several U.S. malls yesterday during the typically busy post-Christmas shopping day.

Incidents occurred at The Mills at Jersey Gardens in Elizabeth, New Jersey; the Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville, North Carolina; the Hulen Mall in Fort Worth, Texas; the Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, Illinois; the Town Center Aurora in Aurora, Colorado; the Monroeville Mall in Monroeville, Pennsylvania; the Arizona Mills mall in Tempe, Arizona; and the Beachwood Place mall in Beachwood, Ohio.

It's unclear if the incidents were connected.
