Fidelity CEO's daughter takes the reins

Abigail Johnson has succeeded her father, Edward Johnson III, as CEO of Fidelity Investments, the vast, privately held financial services company founded by her grandfather, according to USA Today.

The Boston-based company holds $1.8 trillion in mutual fund assets.

Abigail Johnson, 52, has risen in the ranks at Fidelity, starting work at the company as a stock analyst.
