An eight-week mass vaccination event in St. Louis had far fewer than expected show up on its first day.
The event, held at The Dome at America’s Center, has the capacity to vaccinate up to 3,000 a day, or 168,000 in total. However, only 700 doses were administered on the first day.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency, which is operating the clinic, is working with churches, businesses and organizations to get the word out about the vaccination event.
