Festivities mark opening of Great Southern's 13th Springfield branch

Springfield-based Great Southern Bank was scheduled to celebrate the opening of its 38th banking center – and 13th Springfield branch – with an open house July 13–14 at the new location, 2945 W. Republic Road.

According to a company news release, a ribboncutting with representatives of Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce is included in the “Lucky 13” celebration.

The 2,500 square-foot banking center features a full-service lobby with safe-deposit boxes, drive-through lanes and a drive-up ATM.

Matthew J. Murphy is the banking center manager, leading a team of five associates, including personal banker Amanda Gatewood.

The branch offers a broad range of checking, savings, loan and investment products and services.

Publicly traded Great Southern Bancorp Inc. (Nasdaq: GSBC) has total assets of $2.3 billion. Stock closed July 10 at $25.75, compared to a 52-week range of $25.75 to $32.14.[[In-content Ad]]
