Overland Park, Kansas-based Ferrellgas Partners LP filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The company, which operates a national Blue Rhino propane tank exchange network, listed assets and liabilities of $100 million to $500 million apiece.
Ferrellgas Partners LP is a holding company. The operating company, Ferrellgas LP, is not part of the bankruptcy filing, according to Bloomberg.
