Luxury sports car maker Ferrari hired a technology industry leader as its new CEO.
Benedetto Vigna joins Ferrari from STMicroelectronics, a chipmaker he has worked for since 1995. There, he helped pioneer screen technology that was used in early iPhones.
At Ferrari, Vigna succeeds Louis Camilleri, who retired for personal reasons.
