Basketball star LeBron James has become a partner in Fenway Sports Group, the owner of the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool Football Club.
James' investment in the company was undisclosed. He previously held a 2% stake in the Liverpool soccer franchise since 2011.
Fenway Sports Group also penned a $750 million private investment deal that makes RedBird Capital Partners its third-largest partner, according to the Boston Globe.
